Emma qualified in 2009 having obtained a degree from the University of Teesside and Legal Practising Certificate from the College of Law in York.
At the outset of Emma’s studies, she knew she wanted to work in Private Client matters. The qualities required to work in wills, trusts, probate and mental capacity matters far outreach those that can be taught in a classroom.
Empathy, understanding and compassion are key to Emma’s role and in the last 10 years she has gained not only the legal experience, but the life skills required to provide the highest quality of advice to her clients.
Emma has recently been promoted to Head of Department for Private Client work and heads up the Wills and Probate teams across all of our offices.
Emma is a member of the Tees Valley Law Society and the Education Committee for the Society.
Good to know: Emma likes a good old builders brew. Milk last!
