Peter studied Law at De Montford University and was awarded the John Mackrell Prize in respect of the Law Society Final Examinations. His legal career commenced as an in-house lawyer for Tarmac Housing where he dealt with multi-million pound site acquisitions for several subsidiary companies within the Group. He subsequently worked for commercial law firms in Leeds (Walker Morris) and Manchester (Hill Dickinson).
Peter’s expertise is in residential development work for house building companies including Option Agreements, Contracts conditional upon planning consent, Planning Agreements, Overage Agreements and various other infrastructure agreements. Also general commercial property work such as Agreements for Leases, collateral warranties, commercial leases, investment sales and purchases.
Peter spends his spare time watching football and he is a member of Headingley Golf Club.
