Generous donation from Coles Solicitors to homeless charity, Kitchen for Everyone
During 2019 the team and clients at Coles Solicitors raised much-needed funds for homeless charity, Kitchen for Everyone in York.
Coles Solicitors have nominated a ‘Charity of the Year’ for the last few years and focus their attention on fundraising for the charity throughout the year.
At the beginning of 2019, the Coles team took a vote and chose the homeless charity in York and just last week presented a cheque for a whopping £10,501.23p.
The cheque, presented by Shauna Finch, Family Solicitor and her assistant, Berni Ross amazed staff at the charity and they were thanked hugely for the incredible donation.
Helen Rawling from Kitchen for Everyone York said: “We are extremely grateful for the generosity of Coles and their customers.
“The money will be a great help and will go towards helping those who need it most.”
KEY also provide outreach sessions and help support people in need to access services.
Lucy Groves, Marketing Manager for Coles Solicitors said: “Raising funds for charity is part of our work ethic and our contribution to supporting local businesses and charities. We are thrilled that our donation will make such a difference to the charity, and indeed the homeless people they support in and around York.
